Responsibilities included day-to-day copy editing, page design, reporting and online work in sports and news. Special projects work beyond these tasks included initiating and overseeing the Register’s baseball coverage. Some highlights are:

Supervised staff of five; produced pages via Atex pagination system using Quark XPress. Job responsibilities were managing the department, including short- and long-range planning, scheduling and assignment editing. Also did regular copy editing and page design and column writing as well as reporting as needed.
