It was the Yankee Minor league at the time and my daughter and her friend went to a game and got signed baseballs from them…my daughter has both the baseballs but the one that she swears ARod signed has lost most of the signature, but just curious if he could have been playing there that year, perhaps re-cooperating from an injury???

No, he was still with the Mariners at the time. If he spent any time in the minors recovering from an injury, it would’ve been with the PCL team in Tacoma.
