Police officer shoots and kills teenager in Fresno CA. your thoughts?
Today in Fresno A 17 year old high school student attacked a police officer with a baseball bat striking the officer on the back of the head. the police officer drew his weapon and shot the teenager killing him.
Question
Was this shooting Justified
i think there’s enough provocation on the part of the kid, for the police officer to protect his own life from attacks…a baseball bat could have killed the police officer too..if he could present some medical certificate, it could have lessen his liability for killing the kid..or better yet, exonerate him….the aggravating circumstances could help him justify his act, or otherwise mitigate the circumtances leading to the act committed..
