“Are the Cubs ready to move up”? I’m not a Cubs fan (Go Blue!) but I think it’s an interesting question. What do think?
The Cubs starting lineup is in pretty decent shape to make a run at the division title….However, they still have two big questions in Prior and Wood. The Cubs have spent a fortune on these to guys and have had little return on their investment. I personally think they should cut the cord on both and try and make a deal for a couple of younger arms. Wood’s market value is not that good so the Cubs could use him as a closer. Just a thought!
